OPEN YALE COURSES

Open Yale Courses offers a variety of online ressources. Although they do not grant degrees, their courses allows you to follow lectures with their handouts and their assigned readings. Their humanities and social science courses are some of the best offered in the World.

The class we are following this semester: African American History: From Emancipation to the Present, taught by Prof. Jonathan Hallaway

MIT OpenCourseware is possibly the largest library free ourses offered by a university online. Their catalog showcases MIT’s forte: STEM. Some courses feauture weekly problem sets, video lectures as well as the corrections for each of the assignments. It’s vast catalog of courses includes many courses on the application of math, probability and statistics to social problems.

HARVARD ONLINE COURSES

Harvard Online offers diverse, high-quality courses across business, computer science, data science, and humanities. Designed by Harvard faculty, these flexible courses range from self-paced to interactive sessions. The scope of the classes is wider than that of Yale’s, even though it does not offer the quality that Yale Open Courses provides in the humanities department or MIT’s excellence in the hard and soft sciences. Many courses are free, with the option to pay for a certificate.
